Save the Strays Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is a charitable humane organization dedicated to rescuing and re-homing stray and abandoned animals. We focus primarily, although not exclusively, on dogs. We find most of the animals we have rescued wandering the roads and woods, foraging for food or as victims of auto hit-and-run incidents. As space and funds permit, we also rescue dogs that are in danger of being euthanized at public shelters. We regret that we cannot take surrenders from pet owners. We simply don't have the funds or the facility to do so at this time.
Save the Strays has has received federal tax-exempt status under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) and is registered with the South Carolina Division of Charities. All donations to our organization are tax-deductible.
