Our dreams have become a reality!! We have organized the first no-kill animal shelter in Butler County area! The paper work has been filled and on September 1, 2004 we were approved as a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization! We are extremely excited to embark on a new endeavor to help improve the lives of the homeless, abused, and unwanted animals of the Bootheel area. Now PFLHS needs the communities help!! We are in need of a building to be used as a temporary shelter for the animals that we have already taken in. We also need the building to get our Mo Shelters License in order to rescue animals from local animal control facilities to help empty these facilities and prevent the euthanization of lovable animals!
