The Page County Animal Shelter is located in Stanley, Virginia, just 9 miles outside of Luray, Virginia in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. We are approximately 90 miles west of Washington, DC.
We always have many wonderful dogs and cats available for adoption. To see some of our animals, please click on Our Pet List above, or stop by and visit us if you're in the area. Our hours of operation are 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm Monday through Friday and 9am-12pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.
To give animals entering our shelter their best chance of finding a forever home, we work with many rescue organizations across Virginia. These rescue groups assist us by taking animals from our shelter and placing them in loving homes.
Thanks to public and private donations, we just moved into our newly constructed shelter!!!
If you are local to Page County and would like to make a donation, we are always in need of dog food, cat food, toys, towels, rags, cleaning supplies, etc..
