Meadow Gates is a nonprofit organization established to help local animal-control, animal welfare groups, and wildlife officers in temporary housing of farm animals in emergency situations. We welcome all of these organizations to our sanctuary whenever the need arises.
Meadow Gates provides refuge to many farm animals of the rural community who need sanctuary. We work with animal rescue groups to find new homes for these wonderful animals which are free from the threat of the slaughterhouse. Animals unavailable for adoption are retired to the sanctuary to live out the remainder of their life where they are loved and cared for.
Meadow Gates does NOT accept dogs or cats. Please e-mail if you need assistance locating an organization that may be able to help you with placement of your family pet.
Meadow Gates heavily promotes spaying and neutering of pets to reduce the large amount of unwanted animals.
