We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the health and welfare of homeless animals. Our primary source of funding comes from donations from individuals and organizations in the community. We are always in need of supplies. Our wish list shows many of the things we ar e in desperate need of. We are always in need of volunteers to help at the shelter and at our many activities. If you can help in any way, please contact us at 740 373 5959.

Our fees vary for dogs and cats and can range from $15 to $87.50 depending if they're altered and UTD on shots. There is a voucher program to encourage you to spay or neuter your pet. Washington County residents adopting a dog must purchase a dog tag before leaving the shelter. Dog tags cost $12.50.

We are located in the Marietta, Ohio at 90 Mt. Tom Road. We are easy to find if you turn left on County House Lane off Newport Pike Road also called Rt. 7 at the street light in front of Lowes. You will drive just under 1 mile to the top of the hill. You will turn right on Mt. Tom road. It is located across the street from the County Home. You will see several large white barns when you turn. Come see us!
