The Humane Society of Del Norte works to controll the problem of Del Norte countys homless pets through our spay and neuter pogram and public education. It all works because of Volunteers! The Humane Society of Del Norte ia an all volunteer organization with members who devote whatever time they have at their disposal. From the daily care of animals to helping with fund raisers each volunteer adds a vital ingredient to the mix. You need to know, at this time the shelter is not open. the only way we can help is for you to call and leave a message. we will call back most times within 24 hours. there is not a vet on property so we can not give medical advice. you need to call your local vet. there are caretakers on property and will stop people from dumping animals. when the shelter is open we will post hours that we can help. if you want a cat or dog you must still call , leave a message , we will get back to you as soon as possible.
