Homeward Bound in the Heartland Animal Rescue Inc. Our short term Goals As a licensed rescue, was formed in 2009. We are a small group of rescuers in the Omaha, NebraskaCouncil Bluffs, IA area. Special people volunteer to show their love and dedication in helping these animals.Our animals find temporary loving home with our foster parents, while awaiting for furrever families. We do not have a shelter, We rescue homelessabusedneglectedabandoned animals from high stressed situations. as well as those animals that are in danger of being euthanized at a shelter. Health,age or breed does not matter to us. We don't discriminate. Our rescued animals are examined, vaccinated and spayedneutered before they are placed in carefully screened homes. We never discriminate. By involving and educating the community, Homeward Bound In The Heartland animal rescue Inc works to raise the public's awareness of the plight of homeless animals as well as realizing the benefits of adopting an animal in need.
