HAVA, the Harbor Association of Volunteers for Animals, is an all-volunteer group serving the animals of the Twin Harbors region of Washington state. The area we cover stretches roughly from Westport in the north to Bay Center in the south. It encompasses portions of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties.
In the meantime, as we raise funds to accomplish these aims, we place animals in loving homes. To provide for those animals before adoption, we are building a volunteer foster-care network for dogs, cats, and other small animals. We also run a lost & found registry, and our long-time volunteers feed and care for several colonies of feral cats, including the well-known "Jetty Cats" of the beach community of Westport.
