The Greater New Haven Cat Project, Inc. (GNHCP) is a non profit, volunteer staffed organization dedicated to improving the lives of stray, abandoned, and feral cats in the Greater New Haven area of Connecticut. To accomplish this goal, our volunteers are active in the following areas:

* Spaying and neutering cats
* Providing basic veterinary care
* Vaccinating against rabies and distemper
* Testing for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS
* Rescuing and socializing feral cats and kittens
* Finding homes for stray and abandoned cats
* Returning altered feral cats to original colonies
* Providing information, resources, and education
