GRRACE is a not-for-profit organization, staffed entirely by volunteers, and dedicated to Golden Retrievers in need. GRRACE accepts Goldens surrendered by their owners who no longer want or can no longer care for their dogs, rescues Goldens from situations which endanger their welfare or well-being, and places these rescued or surrendered Goldens into loving homes.
GRRACE officially became incorporated and began doing business in December of 1997; however, a number of GRRACE volunteers had been doing "unofficial" rescue on their own for a number of years.
