The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector
Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.
The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give
To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.
The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy
At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.
Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them
Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

Community Concern For Cats (CC4C) is a non-profit cat rescue organization founded in October 1986 by citizens concerned with the growing numbers of abandoned and colonized cats. Through organization and the coming together of many caring individuals, CC4C was organized, incorporated and in business with members living in, and servicing 3 bay area counties (Contra Costa, Alameda & Solono). CC4C is an all volunteer organization maintained on donations and fund-raising. Our members, fosters and volunteers work hard to make a positive difference in the lives of the cats we meet, and in helping our communities.
Our Work
CC4C averages 1000 adoptions a year! That's a lot of experience in CATS and kittens. We also provide needed care for feral cat colonies. CC4C cats are cared for by foster parents/families and then shown for adoption at several different sites on Saturdays and Sundays (see "Adoption Sites" for a list of store locations we currently serve). All CC4C cats have been feline leukemia tested and have had at least two distemper shots, three for kittens. CC4C cats are all spayed or neutered (unless a medical situation requires a delay).
Our Mission
To humanely address the problem of cat overpopulation through rescue, medical sterilization, and continued care of felines.
Our Future
CC4C is optimistic about the future. We find that through education and volunteerism we have been an effective influence in our Counties. We plan to continue our founding Mission and through hard work and community support we plan to some day soon acquire land for a sanctuary and open a shelter/adoption center.
