Colorado Pit Bull Rescue is a network of foster homes located throughout Colorado. We do not have a boarding facility or adoption center.
All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout Colorado. This gives us a chance to ensure all of our dogs get the vet care they need including vaccinations and spay/neuter. This also gives us a chance to really get to know each dog and get them cratetrained, housetrained, and help them with basic obedience before they are placed in their permanent homes.
In addition to all the basic care these dogs get, the most important aspect of being in a foster home is the ongoing socialization our dogs get. They live in real homes with lots of different people, with kids, other dogs, and sometimes even cats or other animals.
While we would love for every dog to stay in their original home this just isn't the reality for so many. With the wonderful foster homes we have we are able to give our dogs a safe, stressfree, and loving environment until the right home comes along.
