Colorado Animal Rescue is a non-profit animal shelter located just outside of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The Colorado Animal Rescue shelter was built in 2000, and since that time we have taken in over 1900 animals. Nearby Colorado Mountain College graciously leased the land for the shelter at a minimum cost. The shelter is also used for the college's Veterinary Technology program. The college offers a certificate program in animal shelter management, one of the fastest growing fields in animal care.
