Cats Are People, Too! Club, Inc., is the only no-kill, non-profit all-volunteer, tax-exempt charity in Trumbull County, Ohio, dedicated to helping abused, lost, stray and homless cats and kittens.
We provide tender loving care, medical treatment and temporary or long-term shelter until a suitable home can be found. Sometimes finding homes for our animals takes a great deal of time, as many come into our shelter as starving, abused creatures who are terrified of those of us trying to give them a chance for a better life.
Our feline friends come from many sources, but once in our care, we do whatever we can to return them to healthy, loving creatures, so that the animals we put up for adoption are as healthy as possible. We carefully screen and monitor adopting homes so that none of the animals we have worked with end up in adverse situations.
Though our goal is to provide comfort and care to the cats, we often provide resources to the community through education, information, and sometimes special intervention with supplies or medical care.
If you would like to help us out, there are many ways you can do so! We are always in need of donations, volunteers, foster homes, and of course, adoptive homes for our cats and kittens. Please see "How You Can Help" for more information.
