Cat Connection is a non-profit all volunteer organization whose mission is to find homes for homeless cats. Since our beginning 3 1/2 years ago we have placed almost 2000 cats and kittens, a few dogs and a couple of rabbits! We do not have a shelter. We care for our cats in private foster homes, until we can place them. Most of our adoptions are done through the Tri-County PetsMart Superstore, where we always have cats available for adoption. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, are up to date with their shots and have been vet checked. Ears are checked, fecals are done (with deworming medicine given if necessary), and flea control is administered. Only then will a cat be offered for adoption. Cat Connection reserves the right to refuse adoption of kittens 16 weeks and younger to any families where there are children 5 years and under. This is to protect both the kittens and the children. We are always in need of volunteers, especialy foster homes and barn/farm situtations where we can place an unadoptable cat under supervision. Donations are greatly appreciated: canned and dry cat food, (especially kitten food), toys, litter, cat beds and, of course, money.
