Nestled in the peaceful mountain community of Candy Kitchen, New Mexico, Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary provides a permanent residence for over 50 wolves and wolf-dogs. These captive-bred animals, otherwise facing a death sentence, are provided with large, naturally wooded enclosures built around rocky terrain and plentiful vegetation. At 7,600’ elevation, our 80 acre sanctuary provides our residents with a natural habitat where their communal howls can echo through the mountains of the high desert.
