The Baja Animal Sanctuary is the only no-kill shelter in Northern Baja. Founded in 1997 by American , Sunny Benedict, we are a registered US 501c3 non-profit corpoation, able to receive tax deductible donations. We subsist solely on donations and thru the efforts of volunteers, and receive no assistance from Governments on either side of the border. The Baja Animal Sanctuary has rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed thousands of dogs and cats during its existence. This year (2006) we expect to reach close to the 300 mark for dogs and 50-60 cats!
