Pet overpopulation is the leading killer of cats and dogs in our country. Each year, up to six million sheltered animals are euthanized to make room for more. Taxpayers spend over $2 billion each year for services to collect, house, destroy and dispose of these animals

AnimalKind® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Raleigh, NC. Nearly 20,000 sheltered animals die as victims of pet overpopulation every year in our area. There will never be enough homes for them all.
