General Information
The Alabama SPCA hosts many programs that benefit both animals and communities. Below is a brief synopsis of our current programs.

Affordable SpayNeuter Program
Where possible the Alabama SPCA provides affordable low cost spayneuter for persons who need it. This includes the trapping of stray cat colonies for the purpose of TNR.

Alabama SPCA Animal Meals on Wheels
Where possible the Alabama SPCA provides a pet food service to low-income families who otherwise would be unable to keep their pets due to hard economic times. This program also includes a petfood delivery service to elderly or disabled persons who would otherwise be unable to go out and purchase petfood.

Alabama SPCA Animal Food Bank
The Alabama SPCA Animal Food Bank program makes it possible for us rescue more animals by providing necessary resources to our foster homes. It also makes it possible for us to run the Animal Meals on Wheels program which serves the greater community.

Cat Trapping Program
The Alabama SPCA also runs a strayferal cat trapping program using humane animal traps. All cats are trapped, tested for Feline LeukemiaAids, spayedneutered, and released.
