Dog Bites Dog Bites
If I am bitten how should I care for a dog bite?
* Always wash the dog bite with soap and warm water, try to get any dirt, saliva, or any other particles washed out of your wound.
* Apply pressure with a clean cloth or towel to the dog bite to stop any bleeding, if the bleeding does not stop within 15 minutes you should proceed to a doctors office or emergency room.

Pets in South Carolina : Dog : German Shepherd : No Name Yet
No Name Yet
I found this sweet dog seeking refuge outside my workplace. She was injured and the security guard at my company was going to call animal control to pick her up. I decided to take her home since she was in need.
She's a 1.5-2.0 year old German Shepard/mix. She weights about 70lbs. I am currently caring for her- she was hit by a car but only suffers from a few wounds on her front legs and a bruised right hip. She's currently on pain medication and an antibiotic but is expected to bounce back quickly. She was found with a collar but without tags. She is not micro-chipped and I am yet to find her owner. I am looking for someone to adopt or foster her.
She's a very sweet dog and is extremely calm and laid back. I would say that she's a low maintenance dog and doesn't expect a whole lot. I would keep her if I didn't already have 3 pets. She has been well taken care of and will make any pet owner happy.
