* Apply pressure with a clean cloth or towel to the dog bite to stop any bleeding, if the bleeding does not stop within 15 minutes you should proceed to a doctors office or emergency room.

Pets in Ohio : Dog : Mixed Breed : Reecy - NEEDS FOSTER

Reecy - NEEDS FOSTER

Reecy needs a foster or forever home. He has been sitting in boarding for almost 2 months now.
This boy is only 35 lbs at most and is a totally adorable, friendly hound mix.

This poor boy was adopted about 2 years ago and was returned to us by his family, who say they love him and wish they could keep him. Why can't they Reecy is very protective of his family and does not want other dogs around. He can also be protective of his children the human children in his home if he feels they are in danger. We have him at a boarding facility where there are behavioral assessments and training for the dogs. The trainers feel Reecy can be fine with other dogs but needs an owner who will teach him that he does not need to protect in all situations.

Reecy lived with children, is crate-trained, house-broken and quite friendly and cute! A home with no other dogs would be idea as would a home with a seasoned owner who can work with Reecy and his pack behavior.

Reecy's adoption fee is $200.00 and covers his vetting including all vaccinations, neuter, heartworm test and started on preventive, flea preventive, and any other necessary vetting, and a leash and collar. If you are interested in adopting this adorable little guy, please visit our website, www.stopthesuffering.org, and complete the adoption application there.
