Dog Bites Dog Bites
If I am bitten how should I care for a dog bite?

* Always wash the dog bite with soap and warm water, try to get any dirt, saliva, or any other particles washed out of your wound.

* Apply pressure with a clean cloth or towel to the dog bite to stop any bleeding, if the bleeding does not stop within 15 minutes you should proceed to a doctors office or emergency room.

Dogs and the Law - Breed Bans Dogs and the Law - Breed Bans

Cuddles

How can you turn down this sweet sad face

Cuddles is SUCH a sweet girl who has obviously had a really tough life. She was rescued from a rural shelter, where they estimated her age to be about 10 years old. She was sick as well and no one could be sure what was wrong. From what we can tell, she has lived outside most of her life or kenneled.
When we took her to our vet, it turns out that she had pneumonia, was full of worms, had a urinary tract infection, and was about 10-15 pounds underweight. This poor sweet girl was in BAD shape.

UPDATE Cuddles is now a healthy girl and is up to date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. She is a little timid at first, but loves to be petted. Her favorite thing is to lay down and just look around at everything going on. She attended her first Mingle with the Mutts recently and did GREAT! She wasn't too nervous and mostly just laid there taking everything in check her out in her cowboy hat!

She REALLY needs a foster home or forever home where she can be taught that people are good and where she will get all of the love and affection that she deserves. She would love a home where she can be allowed to relax most of the day and promises to be a wonderful companion for the rest of her life.

THANK YOU to Karen for sponsoring this sweetheart! We appreciate it and she does tooyou have helped save her life!

Cuddles' adoption fee is $200, which includes all vetting spayneuter, all vaccinations including rabies, heartworm test started on prevention, started on fleatick prevention and a leash collar. If you are interested, please fill-out an online application at www.stopthesuffering.org
