Pets in New Hampshire : Cat : Mixed Breed : Meeko
Meeko
Hey everybody! My name is Meeko, and I am ready to be adopted with my brother Neo! As you can see from our photos, we are simply adorable. Some of the pics are of us with our other brothers, Stormy and Poe, who have already found new homes. We would be a great fit for any family we love all other cats, as well as dogs and kids of any age. All of the volunteers at Pets In Need have remarked on how easygoing, sweet, playful, and just generally ideal cats we are! We are about a year old, which means we look like adults but still act much like kittens. We enjoy playing with each other and with any toy you'd like to share with us. We need to be adopted together because we are so bonded, we cry if we are separated we even want to be in the same cage whenever we are at a shelter or adoption event. -
Our sunny dispositions are even more remarkable when you know our history. Our old pet parents left us in their house when they moved out, but luckily a worker heard us crying and found help. We were picked up by the Lowell dog officer who gave us to Pets in Need. Upon our trip to the vet to be neutered it was discovered that we had Lymphocytic Plasmacytic Gingivitis Stomatitis. It is a condition where you are allergic to your own teeth. Stormy and Poe had to have all of their teeth removed, but Neo and I were able to keep our front canines. Other than our teeth we are really very healthy guys. We are up to date on all of our vaccines and tested negative for feline leukemia and aids. We do need to eat a specific kind of food, but we have such great personalities we are worth it!
