The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector
Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.
The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give
To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.
The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy
At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.
Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them
Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

Pets in Michigan : Dog : Mixed Breed : Frog
Frog
His breed is unknown, he looks somewhat like a small Doberman, now full-grown at a lanky 50 lbs. His black color shows VERY dark brown markings in the sun, just like a Dobie's. Froggy is just a big puppy, all cuddles and games. If he's not playing, he's cuddling, and vice versa... with breaks for EATING, his other favorite activity. He is rather active and needs an outlet or his built-up energy gets him into trouble... another young dog to play with or perhaps some active kids would be GREAT for him. He needs about an hour of good hard play everyday to keep him calm the rest of the time. With exercise, he's not a hard dog to have around, sweet through and through and a real pushover. Despite his activity level he's very gentle, and fine with younger kids. He's nearly all the way on his house-training, still crated at night and when alone to keep him out of trouble. He knows some basic obedience and is VERY willing to please, really enjoys his training sessions. He's a pro at "heel" unlike most of the other dogs around here! He never runs off, either, and is quite obedient off-leash. He does fine with cats and all sorts of other animals, he has no chase instinct, only a play instinct. He loves other dogs, mainly for playing rough-and-tumble games with. He might be a bit much as a housemate for a senior dog or non-player. Frog's been through a lot in his short life and previously was a little shy, and had a problem with submissive urination, but now that he's grown up a bit he's become a confident and settled young man. He just needs a home where he can settle in permanently!
