If I am bitten how should I care for a dog bite?
* Always wash the dog bite with soap and warm water, try to get any dirt, saliva, or any other particles washed out of your wound.
* Apply pressure with a clean cloth or towel to the dog bite to stop any bleeding, if the bleeding does not stop within 15 minutes you should proceed to a doctors office or emergency room.

Pets in Michigan : Dog : Chihuahua : Coco
Coco
Coco is a riot! She is a spayed female, adult Chihuahua who is housetrained and current on all vaccinations. Coco is a funny little character - a big dog in a little, tiny body. She has a big personality and lots of love to give. Coco is a great lapdog.
Coco and Cici were found in an abandoned apartment, empty bowls lined the kitchen. A neighbor heard thier cries. They called animal control who picked them up. They were going to be euthanized. Almost Home recieved a call from a shelter worker there and asked that we take them. We took them with open arms. Cici has non-contagious mange caused by nerves and stress. She is being treated for it and is doing very well.
They are so sweet together and we would love for them to find a forever home together. They are both extremely affectionate and very entertaining. They are so adorable and now that Cici is getting great care here at the shelter, she is recovering quite well. Please open your heart and home to these darling little girls who have had enough greif in their lives. Please let them both know that family does really mean forever.
Coco and Cici are now in foster care. They made themselves at home quickly with their very outgoing personalities Coco more than Cici and curious natures. They are both very familiar with pee-pads and use them without fail. They like to go out in the back yard and explore a bit but do not want to stay out very long once they do their business. They are crate trained and have had no accidents in the kennel.
Coco likes other dogs and just wants to be friends while Cici is a little more shy. They may be happiest as the only dogs in the home. Cici is very sweet and enjoys the warmth of a touch or being picked up. She likes to be close to her people and she listens fairly well to commands. Her skin condition is healing nicely and her fur is growing back soft and healthy. Cici is a very sweet and loving dog. Coco is a very confident and active dog and loves being a lapdog. She also likes to be close to her people. She also listens to commands and comes when called. Coco is very tolerant of the foster family's other two dogs and wants to be friends with them.
