What is Feline Focus 5 (Feline Leukemia) used for:

Pet Meds Feline Focus 5 (Feline Leukemia)
- Feline Focus 5 offers comprehensive 5 way protection against Rhinotracheitis, Calcivirus, Panleukopenia, Chlamydia and Feline Leukemia. Feline Focus 5 is recommended for cats that roam outdoors, live with many other cats, are housed in shelters or where new cats are introduced.

How Feline Focus 5 (Feline Leukemia) should be used:
|
|
Using aseptic technique inject the vial of liquid diluent into the vial containing the freeze dried powder. Mix gently until dissolved. Remove the entire contents back into the syringe. Push out any trapped air. Administer the entire contents (1 ml) immediately after mixing by injecting intramuscularly into the large muscle of a hind limb or subcutaneously under loose skin at the back of the neck. The initial dose may be given at 9 weeks of age. Repeat in 3 to 4 weeks. A minimum of two doses are required for a prophylactic dose. Cats vaccinated at 12 weeks of age or older require 2 doses 3 or 4 weeks apart. Annual revaccination with one dose is recommended.

What are the side effects of Feline Focus 5 (Feline Leukemia):

The use of a biological may produce anaphylaxis and/or other inflammatory immune-mediated allergic reactions. Epinephrine, corticosteroids and antihistamines may all be indicated as antidotes depending on the nature and severity of the reaction.
|

What special precautions are there for Feline Focus 5 (Feline Leukemia):
|

This product is for intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SC) use only. Do not inject into a blood vessel. Do not vaccinate pregnant cats. Use entire contents when first rehydrated.

How should I store Feline Focus 5 (Feline Leukemia):

|
Store this product in a refrigerator at 35° to 45°F. Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children.
