The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector

Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.

The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give

To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.

The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy

At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

The Cat Tree a Perfect Playground for Your Furry Friend

A cat tree is a piece of cat furniture that allows felines to do what they love best: jump, climb and relax on a high, comfortable surface, especially designed to please them. It is made from wood, it is covered with a resistant fabric and accessorized with toys and, sometimes, with condos where your best friend may hide, play and relax.

Why do cats need it?
A cat tree is important because it fulfills an important role in any household: it keeps cats occupied and entertained. Most importantly, it keeps them far from trouble and danger. No more flower pots falling, no more ruining all the curtains and no more climbing on top of high pieces of furniture where owners usually don’t want them to be.

The fabric that is used in the production of a cat tree is especially designed to encourage cats to scratch. In its absence, cats will scratch the carpets and couches - and this is something no cat owner wants. Also, this playground for cats will keep them entertained when their owners are not free to play with them.

Choosing the right cat tree
With so many options on the market, choosing the right activity center for your pet is not an easy task. They all seem nice and interesting and they all serve their purpose. However, there are ways to know which one is perfect for your furry friend.

One aspect to be taken into consideration is the height of the structure: tall cat trees are more interesting to the cat, and usually come with one or two “rooms” for the cat to hide in, but are also more expensive, and they demand larger space in the room. They are great for homes with more than one cat, but also for very active animals, which need enough space to play.

Another very important issue is the stability of the cat tree. Depending on the size and on the weight of the cat, owners may be satisfied with any structure, or may need to test its stability and sturdiness. Some cat trees are very solid and were built to accommodate large cats, while others are not suitable for them and become unstable, especially when these large cats reach the platforms at the top.

Some cats need it more than others
These activity centers are great for kittens and young cats, which need to exercise the most. Also, for cats that seem to be little trouble makers, a cat activity center of this kind will suffice in order to keep them far from your furniture, valuable china and from dangerous places.

Nevertheless, even old cats that like sleeping in their owners’ laps will explore the structure and may even discover a new favorite sleeping place.

Cats, in general, love to play with the accessories, to scratch the special surface and to keep an eye on their territory from the top levels of the structure.

Owners are therefore strongly encouraged to consider acquiring a cat tree, for the benefit of the entire family and especially for the happiness of their pets.
