what to do about neighbors horse****blem? - 1/4/2010 6:53:38 PM

Hi, we've been dealing with a horse****blem now for several years. We live in DeKalb county and our animal control up here doesn't seem interested in helping****. Our neighbors have a****x. 10 or so horses on about 7 acres of land. They****ed to get out and run in our yard and eat our trees quite often. Since then they have put up a 4-wire fence. THe fence isn't turned on most of the time or it doesn't work-the horses stick their heads under and through it and eat our willows and other vari**** trees. Our neighbors are very unreasonable and we cannot talk to them anymore. We don't know if it constitutes as a****e or not, but the only structure the horses are allowed in is a very small building that could maybe hold 3 of them, and one side is****pletely open. They are often left in the lowest part of their "pasture" so in the spring and fall when it rains a lot, they stand up to their knees in mud. Needless to say the smell can be quite strong at times. Anyway, we are fed up with the horses damaging our****perty and are sick of them not being****perly cared for. The police have been out here several times but nothing seems to help much. We can put up another fence ourselves but it would have to go pretty far- that's something we feel we shouldn't have to do since it shouldn't be our****blem to begin with. Anyway, if any of you have suggestions, we'd love to hear them. Thank-you.
