There are these extremely cute kittens with their mother and they live in my neighborhood. What should I do? How would I take them to the shelter? I seriously don't know anything, so please could I have some advice? Thank you!!

I have same kind of situation, my girlfriend and I are taking care of 7 cats and a rabbit in our home and like 3-4 very friendly cute stray cats outside. One of the outside stray cats just had kittens across the street, its only a matter of time until they are running around everywhere and eating on our porch, lol. We can't find anywhere for them to go and we are loosing our minds with all the kitty food and meds for them. Animal shelters cannot guarantee they won't be euthanized so we are scared for them.We can't afford the bills but we also cannot afford emotionaly for them to be killed either.

You could do a fundraiser for the kitty's at an approved public place. ANd have them all spayed and neutered, so you don't have the same reocurring problem. You should try to trap as many cats as possible and get your community involved. Get people who care and trap them, spay and neuter, vaccinate with the help of a fundraiser to pay for it. Not sure what kind of fundraiser. I bet the people who attend the fundraiser will adopt some. What do you think?

My heart goes out to you because I had to give a cat and her three babies up we kept them for months since the day they were born and tried to ask around and find homes but no luck. Our shelter here is a kill shelter thats why i had them for months but the cost got to be to much and even though I wished I lived on a farm just to keep them all lol I relized I couldn't and it is much easier for them to adopt out kittens so before they got any bigger I did what I knew I had to do I gave them up.It was very very hard but now I keep it my mind that I'm sure they found a home they were too cute not to.I do relize it had to be done and in a way it is a relief and I never thought I would say that but it is true.I know how hard it is once you are so close mine were inside and even slept on my chest and it hurts to have to give them up but it needed to be done so good luck love!

I'm in agreement with the guest reply from 9/16 - PLEASE find some financial ****istance if necessary and look for a low cost spay/neuter clinic in your area!  Cats reproduce with amazing efficiency and you will have so many beautiful kittens and cats it will break your heart AND your wallet!  The most humane and responsible action is to spay and neuter, vaccinate if funds allow, and provide what shelter, food and water you can for these beneficial and fascinating creatures!  Here in the middle of Missouri, Dogwood Animal Shelter provides a low cost clinic for the surgeries and stays very busy at it!
