I live in Massachusetts and my dog Tully is a pure bred Scottie. He is about 5 years old, we got him as a puppy, and he is great in every way, except with strangers or on leash walks. I used to be able to let him out off leash, but can't do that any more, and I am wondering if that is his problem. He attacks strangers feet sometimes, and barks like mad if anyone comes near the condo we live in. I took him to a dog event yesterday and he was the ONLY dog that was lunging at EVERY dog there, growling and barking like he wanted to tear their heads off... He is so gentle with me, my daughter and husband, but everyone else, look out! I don't know what to do as the vet said he has behavioural issues that need to be addressed or he may have to be put down.
