Status: offline 		Boston Terriers need help. my vet and Pet store chain are too expensive, living on a retirement pension and personal meds are almost out of reach, any suggestions

 Pay to have your vet do it and have them teach you how to do it yourself.  Try adding some canned pumpkin (not the pie mix) or some bran cereal to their food..about a tsp or two...it might help firm up the stools so the glands are expressed naturally.

 There is a website online that shows you step by step how to drain your dogs anal glands.  I must admit that I haven't tried it but it really doesn't look that hard.  I can't remember the name of the site.  It is pretty yucky but it will save you some money.  Good luck!
