I have a German Shepard/Akita mix dog, who is not leach trained, has no social skills, and is very dominant. He has been living in a 2 bed room condo for 5 years with me. His owner moved away a year ago and left him in my care, promising to come back for him. I know that he is never coming back for him and so now i have a responsibility that i never asked or nor can handle. I cannot handle him or care for him anymore so what do i do. He has not been cut and i have the utmost trouble walking him with his aggressiveness. What do I do for him and me. He is a big 85 pound dog. I am a 5'2 115 pound little girl, who cannot handle him. I need advise on what would make him happy and help me out. I need some advice or help. Very torn, heartbroken.

By "cut" I ****uming you mean he has never been neutered? If so, you need to get that done ASAP. Next, look into dog training. PetSmart has good dog training classes, but it doesn't sound like your dog can handle social interaction at this time. Call around & see if any trainers can come to your house. If this is not possible, you need to start showing him that YOU are the alpha & are in charge NOT him!!
