I do love chi's. In fact I think I loved too much. My little chi's name was Chloe. She was five years old and the apple of my eye and my constant companion since I had been on bedrest for a foot injury for the past 5 months previous. On June 20th I came home to my house burning and heard my little Chloe barking inside but couldnt get into her. I screamed with defeat as the firemen finally came. I knew she was already gone. The fireman came out the door almost like in a mist of smoke holding my little Chloe in his hands wrapped in a towel. She was gone. I will never forget her. I am still having troubles since the house fire we have to stay in a motel until the house is rebuilt so getting another baby chi is out of the question for the next 5 months. I can say yes.....I do love them.....as I loved her. I will have another one day....and I pray it's sooner than later. I'm lost without her. Sandy....

Hi Sandy; Just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. I too lost my chihuahua this summer. She was a 7 year old long coat named Frankie. She was ran over by the UPS driver in my own driveway. I got her when I was sick...I was unable to walk due to undiagnosed Rheumatoid arthritis and having a really hard time. SHe was my little angel and like you said a constant companion. When I lost her I didn't know what I was going to do. (My doctor prescribed valium; yes it was that bad) I did get another a couple months ago...I named her Chloe. I hadn't even read your story. Perhaps your little angel came to watch over me. (I still have weekly chemo and am permanantly disabled from the joint damage done before I was diagnosed, but somehow my little friend makes the hard times a little easier. I hope you are able to find another friend soon. God Bless.
