I recently acquired a 5 yr old border collie mix.  Dixie is 5 yrs old - spent the 1st 5 yrs in a 20 x 30 pen with her mother and brother.  She was given the basic - food, water, shelter, but she was never socialized with people.
She has " severe " seperation anxiety - in the yard she walks in circles and barks at anything !   I've taken her to the dog park - she likes the dogs - But she barks " constantly " - the more "people" around - the worse it gets !   The last time she was there I had to take her out as she was stirring up the rest of the dogs playing - their playing was about to border on aggression due to Dixie's compulsive barking !   I've tried working with training her with commands - but the anxiety overrules her listening.  She is smart - I've seen the "smart" in her - so I know she is trainable -
PLEASE ANYONE WITH ANY SUGGESTIONS ?????????
