Puppy sale Animal Kingdom Mesa - 6/24/2009 12:03:55 PM

I was at the superstition spring mall in Mesa yesterday and saw that the Animal Kingdom Store has lots of pure bred puppies for sale. The sign says the breeders of the puppies are all certified ****fessional and hobby breeders). All the puppies looked healthy but I still didn't feel good about the whole selling. The dogs are the whole day in the display behind glass and are taken out to play in a tur****. But there are so many that the doggies have to wait a long time for their turn. Puppies need to run around and not hang out the whole day in a display. I am sure it isn't against the law what the store is doing. But I can't understand why a respectable breeder would give his "expensive value" into a store for selling.
My point - I wished there would be a law to forbid every kind of puppy selling in stores for good. I have two rescues at home. I know there are excellent dog breeders out there who would never put their puppies in a store behind glass.

Is it ****t me overreaction?????
You are NOT overreacting! Have you spoken to whomever is in charge of the store? How about contacting the ASPCA? How about the local Humane Society - that is, unless you are in the area that has the crummy one! How about finding out WHO the breeders are and contacting them? (Let's hope this stupid software doesn't slice and dice my words.)
