 I have a fifteen month old daughter, my 4 year old pom has always been good with her, yesterday he attacked for no reason. Luckily he bit me and not her, I had to get 15 stitches in my face. Animal control took him to quarantine him for 15 days. We cannot have him back here, I can't risk it with my daughter. They will put him up for adoption after the 15 days. Do you think anyone will take him? They have to disclose the bite of course. If not then he will be put to sleep. How do I know that he will get a good home? I feel sick when I think about him being mistreated. I can hardly live with myself, I wish I could have him back but I know I can't. He is such a good and loving dog, I don't know what happened. I don't know how to get through this, advice please.
