I am stuck in a heart breaking situation.  I have been told by my landlord that I must get rid of my dog.  Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to go and find a new home that will allow me to keep my baby.  Truly, we were irresponsible by not reporting our new found friend to them and that is what has put us in this situtation.  My husband rescued him off the street and we took him to find him a home but fell in love and kept him.  I have always thought that my pets were like my children and I would never leave a child so it goes to say that you can't just leave your pet either; he is family.  But I am in between a rock and a hard place and must make the decision that is best for all concerned.

He is all black with blue eyes; part husky and ?.  Sweet and loving.  Not sure of his exact age since we didn't get him from an owner but he was a baby when we took him in and we have had him for 10 months.  I am in Inverness, Florida and will do whatever it takes to be sure that he is adopted into a loving and caring home.  I have listed him up for adoption on every site I can find.  If you are interested please e-mail us at algerogiannis@yahoo.com.

Why don't you move somewhere where you can take your dog?

I would love to move somewhere with my dog.  But we just don't have the money for first, last, security, pet deposit, moving costs etc.  We were actually discussing that last night and the conclusion is that it is just not feasible right now.  With the econmoy being such as it is now is not a great time for us to be moving.  Unfortunately, it is Gus that is suffering in the end and that is what really breaks my heart.  We just want him to be happy.  I think that he would be much better off in a home with a nice fenced back yard and kids to play with etc.
