Hi all I am new to this site and it looks quite interesting. I have a question if possible if someone could answer for me tonight. My son and I went to the spca this afternoon and we adopted a second cat. But my hubby is mad about it and wants me to cancel the adoption. Because we had a problem with another cat that we adopted before he was pooping and peeing all over the house so now he doesn't want a second cat in the house. I was trying to convince him that it would be ok. But it doesn't seem to help. I didn't want to be such a big deal and have both of us mad at each other. I don't know what to do. If I cancel the adoption my son will be upset. But on the other hand I don't want to have my hubby mad at me what do I do? I am stuck. Please help someone. pinto1515

Did you end up adopting that cat? If not, I have three cats that we are looking for good homes for. These cats have been well taken care of, spoiled, and are current with all their shots. My daughter is two and was just diagnosed with allergies to animals so I have to find good homes with caring folks. Let me know if the adoption went thru and if not, if you might be interested in another cat. My cats are Tiger - 8 years old, Cole 7 years old, and Spooky (female) 5 years old. They are all very sweet and all spayed/neutered. House trained as well. Thanks, Jenna Bean jenna_tig@yahoo.com

How can you adopt an animal without discussing the adoption with the whole family first? the decision to adopt a pet should not be taken lightly. You should teach you son that.

I am sorry to hear that, but you are going to want what is best for the cat too, say you do decide to take the cat, and he or she does the same thing as the other and you get rid of him or her, can you live with your self knowing the cat could have had a better and more stable home?? If it was me, I would cancel the adoption and just explain to my child the situation and tell them they are lucky we have one.
