 I saw an ad for a puppy that I am interested in so I contacted them at the email listed. The only response I got was to ask me if I had read the ad? I sent another email and they sent me a 5 question "application" requesting $100.00 nonrefundable deposit and $550.00 adoption fee. Basically they ****t wanted a day and time when I could pick up the puppy. I would think they would want to make sure I would be a good home for the dog and it would be a good match but instead it seems like they are more interested in the $. How do I determine if this is a legit rescue group? I called the local humane society and the woman who answered had not heard of them before.
