I am very sad to say I need to find a good home for my American Bulldog. We are military and being transferred across country and cannot take him. He is a beautiful, sweet, gentle dog that loves kids and other dogs. Please email if interested. jenstew79@yahoo.com

My Parents divorced in the late '50's...really we 'RAN' frm my Abusive Father. Of course we took a cat with us, he was much older & 'died' at 14yrs. old. We ALWAYS had cats, so 'Beezie' came into our lifes. My Mom was 'A MOVER'...5 trips from chicago to Calif. & about every Apt. building in Burbank,Calif. 'Her' moves were 3-day Mathrons...you know clean the new place, we never had enough boxes so back to the 'old' Apt. to pack & clean that one. All the time 'Beezie' knew the words as well as my Sister & I did...'GET INTO THE CORVAIR'. ..or Mom would come home from one of her 2 & sometimes 3 jobs & Announce..I FOUND A APT. JUST DOWN THE STREET WITH A POOL & ONLY $5.OO MORE A MONTH. GREAT!! I wouldn't have to change schools...THIS TIME. We adopted a 'Dessert Tortise' which travled with us for a few yrs...Untill a 'Roomates' Son 'Lost' Him/Her. We never knew but still Him/Her was named 'Sidney'. I have 5 Dessert Tortises now & know we didn't know how to care for 'Sidney' the way they should be carred for, I can hope who ever found 'Sidney' carred for 'Sidney' & loved him as we did. 'Beezie' died in Burbank at the age of 18yrs. He knew when we were going to move, we moved from Chicago to Calif in '69, but Mom 'True to form was ready to go back to Chicago a yr. later' 'Beezie hid for 3 days, I had my own Apt. that my sister was going to share with me. Mom had only herself, the 'corvair' was sold & she stayed in Calif. still moving from one Apt. to another, the last Apt. as we were carring box after box inwe made jokes like...I remember moving this box when I was 25yrs....or this box at 35yrs. Now she's STUCK there we all have back problems, I have pain 24/7 all the moving just made the Back Problems I had as a child worse. OF COURSE! I have cats, got my non-profit Statis & rescue the 'Ferals'. I haven't read further but a dog is harder to hide, even as the ONE Motel room we stayed at & snuck 'Beezie' in, with his tail hanging out...LOL. I'm sure many thers can give you 'ideas' on how to get your dog across country. I'v had many friends who moved to different states with WAY MORE then one dog, orry but I lost touch with them. Good Luck & enjoy you new home. Kiss your 'Baby' for me. Love, Pegi Excuse my many mistakes...I just got the cast off my r-arm.
