My Grinchy neighbor (a few doors down) called Animal Control on me because my leashed dog would bark at/try to chase her unleashed cat, and of course the cat would run. My immediate neighbor told me of this because she got a visit from AC, who asked her if she had any problems with my dogs (answer: no). Is there something I should do now? Should I call Animal Control and explain the situation? I know for a fact it is retaliation, because I've had problems with her in the past, and I just talked to her about this very issue, saying if she had any problems to please come tell me. It seems she'd rather just complain to everyone but the person who may be able to do something about it. Anyway. Sorry for the rant, but should I let it drop? Have they "checked out the situation" and come away satisfied? Should I call? I never, ever thought I would end up in this situation to begin with.
