4-Acre Off-Leash Site. $25 to register. Location: Route 88 within Ocean County Park. By permit only. Male dog must be neutered. No children under 8 years allowed in park. Separate lg and smll dog areas. Fully enclosed areas. Watering stations, benches picnic tables. Guard on duty at all times. Closed only 4 days out of the year. Woods, grass, and trails as well as open running space. Bathroom within 500 feet of park. Ample parking. Double gated entry Directions: From Garden State Parkway southbound, exit 91 (Route549/Lanes Mill Road)south to Route88,then west on Route88about 2 miles to Ocean County Park entrance. Northbound, exit90(Route549/Chambersbridge Rd)to jughandle for U-turn: north about1 1/2 mile to Rt 88,then west on Rt 88 about 2 miles to park entrance on right.
